Unchanged

The year-final exams are finally over. The only subject I think I did well in was Mathematics—I’ll probably score around 95. Other than that, I’m not expecting much, and honestly, I don’t really care.
But whatever happens—whether the results come out or life simply moves on—I never end up feeling the way I imagine I will. Maybe that sounds foolish, but all I’ve ever wanted is to feel free.
No matter how well I score on an exam (though I doubt it’ll be anything remarkable), the feeling never lasts. Satisfaction slips away before I can hold onto it. Maybe this education system was never meant to give me what I’m actually searching for.
Maybe nothing will really change after this. The results will come, people will talk, life will move on as usual. And still, I’ll be here, feeling the same way. Not impressed, not disappointed—just… unchanged. Because in the end, these numbers were never the point for me anyway.
