Perfect Peter — 1

The skin on Peter’s face now resembles that of a rotten apple—covered with wrinkles, cracks, and the marks of a life stretched far beyond its limits. He is old... very old.
At the age of ninety, he still wishes for ten more years. No matter how much his body withers and how many more years he begs from time, deep inside, all he truly desires is for his suffering to end—to finally rest peacefully among the achievements he spent his entire life collecting.
Peter never knew how to surrender when it came to competition. Every test, every exam, every challenge was another race he had to win. And now, as he stands at the final moment of his life, he still clings to the same competition—the race to outlive everyone around him.
This should not make any sense at all—he knows it too. Yet after a lifetime of chasing victories, he no longer knows how to lose, even when the only thing left to lose is himself.
