Maybe
June 16, 2026, 3:50 AM (GMT+6)
I hope—yes, I hope a lot will occur.
Maybe I have faults, maybe I err,
Maybe I fall short, maybe you don’t prefer.
But deep inside somewhere,
I still hold onto my desire.
I dream—yes, I dream big indeed.
Maybe everything will change, my dreams I’ll meet,
Maybe the clouds will descend beneath my feet,
Maybe the world will see, and better they’ll treat,
But no matter what people say,
I’ll always carve my own way.
I don’t care—yes, I really don’t care.
Maybe you don’t like me, maybe you curse,
Maybe you scold me and rip my verse.
Maybe you say what you say—I won’t obey,
Maybe you think I’m the worst—I won’t decay.
I wish—yes, I wish for something new.
Maybe you’ll love me even if I’m weak,
Maybe you’ll look after me even if I’m a freak,
Maybe you’ll sing to me even if I can’t hear,
Maybe you’ll hold me close even if I’m stranded out there.
I’ll die—yes, I’ll die for sure.
Maybe you’ll remember me while I’m gone,
Maybe your tears will dry waiting for my call.
Maybe flowers will bloom all around my grave,
Maybe those are the only things that you’ll save.
Maybe you’ll save those blossoms and decorate my frame,
Maybe you’ll stare at my picture and remember my name.
I wish—yes, I really wish for a change.
Maybe my dreams will collapse, maybe I’ll shatter,
Maybe my life won’t shine, maybe it won’t matter.
Maybe everyone will be happy after my death,
Maybe someone will not—recalling my breath.
Yet I still hope a lot will occur.
Maybe the road is dark—but my vision is pure,
Maybe I’ll lose my way—but I’ll find the cure.
